Ive been on 3 0r 4 leases in the last 20 yrs and really couldnt imagine huntin with anybody besides friends or family. At least you know what kind of people your dealin with.I cant see how anybody would want to get on a lease with people you dont know, yet i see posts all the time for spots open with hunters already on it.With all the yahoos, dummies and hard cores,it sure seems like a heluva gamble to get on a lease like that seamin how expensive theyve gotten.

It is a gamble, Last time I was looking I was on 3 different leases in 4 seasons. Then I found one I was like and was on for 6 years, until my Oldest was born. I sold all of my stuff and basically only hunted once or twice for 5 years. Now I am back on another lease, so far so good. Will see how the season goes, and go from there. I am definately not going to pay the price and be miserable. Just try it out and hope that is a good lease with a good fit.
