I went last year during the split and hunted the devils river. saw tons of birds and had a good hunt too. It's an experienced canoe trip and takes severla days so most people on here would never hunt it. we never saw a single soul in 3 days. The lake that it feeds into looked good too, bird wise, but you have to know where you can legally hunt, etc. I don't think I can make it this year, but I had so much fun last year that I have vowed to make it back sometime soon, hopefully next year. I plan to recruit guys on here too, take a good sized crew. Good luck! I'm jealous. There's also the Hunter's Club just across the border for those looking for a little cultural exchange.
