Its sorta like the 243 Catbird just different. Same thing as necking down a 30cal but just a little different.

a 6mm-06 necked to .277 would make it a 270 winchester ackley improved.

the .270 was what i had to turn the outside of the neck to in order for a round the be chambered after being necked down from whatever 06 case i used to form my brass.
