I've used them in the past with no problems in my SBEII. I never patterend them but have a feeling they pattern terrible based on the results I've had with them. I've got two cases of remingtons and 4 cases of Rios so I'm going to pass on these.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

I've never had any problems in any of my guns. I still have 10 cases from last season that I never touched.

Is this as low as they went last yr I cant remember. They dropped lower than this in 2008, like down to 3.84/box, I'm still shooting that lot, lol. I did not buy any last year, someone told be they did not go on sale last year ($3.99/Box) like years past, but I find that hard to believe.

For what it's worth, I bought some last year, and felt like I was winging a lot of birds with my 20 gauge. The 12 gauges did fine, and maybe the problem with the 20 gauge was my aim...
Last year Cabelas had a pretty good sale on some higher loads, about $4.25 per box if I remember correctly--also seems like it was about a week or two after Academy's sale.

I used them last year in my OU and sometimes at the range. My ol' Win 1400 don't like 'em though.
Not to high jack a thread, but Cabelas has Winchester Super-X Heavy Game Loads on sale from $70 to $55 a case. And they have their $20 off $150 or more order so you can get three cases at a pretty good rate. The shipping for 5 cases was only $17, too.
If you're shooting a 20 ga, they have the RIO Super Game Loads on sale for the same price. My son will be shooting an ol Rem Sportsmans Model 58 this year that was the first gun I ever used. These RIOs are 1 oz and 2 3/4 DRAM EQ so they should cycle better.

Really, I like them, been shooting them in SBE II since 2008, I think they work fine. I have not patteren them, I sure need to do that!! For the money the Rio's are a much better load...better components...wads, powder, pellets, etc. Also you are getting 1 1/8 oz. I've got Rios at 1 1/8oz that are 1275fps and 1350fps. Your standard 1 1/8oz cheap load is 1200fps. For me the faster 1 1/8oz loads give better performance...in the course of say 5 hunts it may only be noticable a few times...but for me its worth it. Also never underestimate the load confidence factor. It's purely mental but if I think I'm hot [censored] and can't miss I do better than with I'm doubting a load, gun, whatever. I've never had a problem with 1 oz loads until just recently with my SBEII. However I've never cleaned the spring that is in the stock...not something that can be done on a standard clean. So for the first time in 5 or however long I've had that gun...I'm getting it cleaned by a gun smith. I'm thinking it will be as good as new after that. Over the years and all the nasty hunts I've been on gunk has made it's way back there.

Those cheap shells, Rem or Win, in 20 GA will bounce off a white wing. Go with a higher grade shell if you're shooting less than a 12 or you won't be happy.
