to trap hogs whats the catch?? ive built a trap but they dont set it off i dont get it!

All I can say is if you have hogs all you need is plain old corn. All these secret recipes aren't gonna bring in hogs that were not there in the first place.

CORN, NOTHING ELSE NEEDED, IF YOU HAVE TRAP SHY HOGS LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN AND LET THEM GET USED TO COMING AND GOING. ONCE THAT HAPPENS SET IT.

WITH PUSH DOORS THE VERY BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS WIRE THEM UP, ABOUT 1 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND. THE HOGS WILL GO IN, BUT STILL BE ABLE TO GET OUT BY LIFTING THE DOOR WITH THEIR NOSE. THEY WILL GET USED TO WORKING THE DOOR. I HAVE DONE THIS MANY TIMES AND IT WORKS. DEER WON'T GO IN AT THAT HEIGHT EITHER. THIS PIG WOULDN'T GO IN, SO I RAISED THE DOORS TO LET HER COME AND GO.  ONCE SHE WAS GOING IN I LOWERED THE DOORS AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED

It helps to use a feeder that drops corn everyday and allows you to stay out of area.... It works for me!!
