I have some questions that I haven't found in any FAQ's so I was hoping y'all would share your knowledge. So if I put out a feeder and it attracts a pack of hogs and I shoot one; I'm sure it will cause the little S-bags to scatter. Will they come back to the same feeder usually and how long does it take them aproximately?

Thank You Kindly.

Welcome to the forum!

Hogs are very UN-predictable and any pattern a group (or a lone boar) may establish is very temporary. They wander by nature. That said, there's not a solid answer to your question.

Once you have them in your area, you will always have them in your area. It may not be the same group of hogs but whatever draws (food/water) the first group in will draw more...it may be the same day or it may be two weeks later.

Good luck! up

They may come back in 5 minutes, the next day, or several weeks. Or never but a new pack may come in.

We've only had them at our place a couple of years and the best way I can tell where and when to hunt is by using game cams. Also with as much rain as we have had this year I check for tracks and hunt where the tracks are in the evening or mornings.
