Savage, Tikka, CZ. Probably depends on the individual rifle you get as to which is the most accurate. All are generally very nice shooting weapons.

Savage, Tikka, Remington. I'm a Remington person and have never had any out of the box issues.

My Remington 700 in .270 and Stevens 200 in .223 are both pretty accurate.

I would say Savage and I am digging some of the new T/C bolt guns, seem to be getting great reviews and the couple I have shot pretty much out of the box have been dead nuts on.

Remington 700 AWR, IMO next in line is a Browning w/ BOSS.

My Steyr Pro Hunter is the most accurate out of the box rifle I've ever owned. Haven't owned one but sighted one in for a friend.... I was highly impressed!!!! haven't seen any thing come close as far as production

How much money do you want to spend. Weatherby and many other brands give you a 1" deal--out of the box? And I have shot several of them and agree. As to resale and the most customized gun, used in a ton of competitions, the far and away leader is the 700 action on anything. A Rem 700 in 270 is a great shooter-out of the box.

X3 on the Steyr, Every one I have handled was unde 1" at 100yards.
Tikka, and Sako are another in the same price braket.
The Higher end Remingtons R5 and AAC-SD are both under .75 MOA
But as much as this pains me to say for the Price Savage is it.

Everyone is referring to Rem 700s. I have not been too impressed with them as of late. Unless you spend the extra coin to go with one of their upper end rifles, I dont feel the quality/accuracy is there any more.

Unless you spend the extra coin to go with one of their upper end rifles, I dont feel the quality/accuracy is there any more. I agree it seems some of their quality control has kinda fell off. As for the OP's question there are alot of makers that say their rifles will do the benchmark 1" MOA or better I'd pick one of them and go with it.
