Anyone specifically used Buds to order a firearm to somewhere in the Fort Worth area?

http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/ffl.php?ffl_state=TX&sortby=Citythey have an ffl look up page if my link does not work. if not then call any firearm dealer in your area. i ordered from buds before and found a local pawn shop that charged me $20 for the transfer. they ship quick.

If they are on the list is it still necessary to contact them before shipping the gun to the dealer?
not sure how the whole process works.

not sure how the whole process works. Normally you would as a matter of courtesy to let them know it's going to be shipped to them. Also it's best to make contact first just to verify they are still in business and at the same address.

You can go ahead and buy the gun from buds before you have a ffl setup if you need to. They dont have to ship it right out and can give you a couple of days to find a local ffl. Call around to pawn shops as they are most all ffl holders and most will accept a transfer. They also can usually order guns so if its a new gun you may be surprised that a local pawn shop can match that price. Also there is no way to ship a gun to someone that doesn't know its coming as they have to send buds their info and ffl info before buds can ship it to them.

You're in Benbrook? Go see Jason over at the Cash Advance Pawn in town on 377 near Brookshires. Great guy to deal with & very reasonable pricing for FFL transfers.

Also it's best to make contact first just to verify they are still in business and at the same address. Bud's would need a copy of the receiving FFL sent to them prior to shipping. It's a standard procedure that the FFL will know how to do.

Buds has my FFL on file. You can have it shipped to me. I charge 20 for transfers.

I've got a few dealers who I am trying to get quotes from. If someone local can't beat it I'll take you up on that $20 transfer for sure.
