A good bowhunting Friend of mine invited Me to go to Canton Yesterday and shoot Their Techno range never done this certianly not with a new bow .I was shooting My new mission Voyager set at 60 lbs. due to a shoulder injury last Year .The range is indoors at 20 yards in the dark with multiple animals that are projected onto a large screen . a complex laser system records arrow speed and impacts to dertermine kills or misses shoots are moving,standing at various simulated ranges .I was very impressed with the preformance of My new bow other than smooth it was avg. 251-253 FPS at 28.5" draw with 100 gr. heads not to shabby .This exercise will certianly get You ready for the real deal if it seems like all the deer are just to easy for you moving give the small game and preditors a try! shot a 257 here it was alot tougher!

you want to shoot something that is as close to the real deal as possible you need to go and shoot 3D, cause like you said,the Dart system is at 20yds how hard is it to judge at a known distance. i might as well shoot at a shooting block. Yes its fun to shoot but no where comparable to 3D

I here ya many years ago when I was in the NFAA, NHBA and LSBA between feild archery and 3-d shoots I found time to hunt!They were having the 3-d state championship in plano I believe it was 1983-85 Lsba was putting it on the toughest course I've ever shot and I've shot all over Teaxs and the mid-west so many limbs and vines You needed a guided missel !they had a target set way out in the middle of the pasture with a 1" orange dot on it ,couldn't see it with the naked eye for a dollar You could shoot at it and win the pot Folks shot all day at that thing,I was really down about My score I shoot Un-limited and was way off My pace end of the match I threw My dollar in gave it My best guess and let-er-rip!Put $457.00 dollars in My pocket with 1 arrow at 93 Yards!there was some upset folks to say the least!We loaded up and come on home QUICK!

They have a pop-up Match that starts at 6:00 pm. this Saturday thats elimanation You get to shoot at least 20 arrows from there it's up to You!Shots range from 20 ish to low 50's.
