Putting down the Matthews SQ2, getting a new bow this week or next.
What are your thoughts on the BowTech Destroyer or Matthews Z7,Monster, Drenaline, etc.
No need to mention Hoyt, PSE or any other, only concerned about the BowTech and Mathews.
Thanks in advance

have you shot the mathews or bowtech that you want. And what are your reasons for not wanting Hoyt or PSE ,or are you looking for speed, smooth draw, low weight??????? are you buying what everyone thinks are the best bows???????cause i could give you a hundred reasons why I think Hoyt is better

I'm not going to tell you what is best.. NO ONE CAN TELL YOU THAT, it's strickly choice. I've been almost every brand shooting staff and it's strickly what feels best to you.. I like Bowtech just because I've had about a six year association with them and know how they stand behind their product. I've got a Fred Bear that shoots just as good as any bow on the market.

Why is eveyone so much about bowtech and mathews. I've owned both and they are great, but I also just bought the new 2010 pse x-force dream season and it is the fastest and almost smoothest bow I have ever shot. With todays bow technology there are so many great bows not just bow tech & mathews.

27 inch draw, 70 lbs, hunting only.
I shot them all this last week, decided on the Mathews Z7. Why Mathews, because that is the only bow I have ever had in my adult life it seems, first bow a browning does not count

Mathews are way too overated....I have a Browning and I guarantee it will hang with, if not shoot better than any Mathews out there!!! I shoot a Browning too, and I was told they are made by PSE... Matthews, Bowtech, Hoyt, PSE, Bear, Diamond, Parker- the list goes forever, but remember that people are still killing deer with stick bows and wood arrows with flint heads and they've been doing it for hundreds of years. Don't stress or argue about it cause they all are more than capable to harvest animals. I'm in total agreement with bjanks... whatever feels good to you is what you get!
Wasn't born in Texas, but I got there as fast as I could.

Bows are like golf clubs both get the job done. It just comes down to personal choice. Many top brands out there

i loved my browning mirage for the guy that thinks mathews suck..i shot many animals with it and had it quiet as a whisper and never stopped lovin it In february i bought a Z7 and it is the best fit for me i have ever shot. I am a small frame guy with short arms and the bows suits me perfect, quieter than my browning and so far has proven quite deadly. I've killed a dozen or so pigs with it since feb
