Better give Allen a call. He dont sit down at the computer that much. I believe most of his fields are out east of Waco. I dove hunted with Allen this season and he is a stand up guy.

Also what kind of numbers are you seeing....lots of snows in this area? How many guns are in the group you are taking? To me 4 or 5 seems like an ok number...more than that in the party (besides guides) then I would not want to deal with it.

Well I guess he does get in front of a computer when he wants business. Why would someone post then not answer comments unless they don't understand how these forums work?

I'm guessing he will answer...if he needs hunters...if not I guess he won't.

If it comes to it I'll give him a call. I've got two other goose hunts I'm trying to get going this weekend ...no guides...but we don't really need them as my buddy has all the decoys and an electronic call.

But guided hunts are the best (if you have the cash).

That is why he left his number . I would imagine that he is back out scouting birds for his upcoming hunts which dont allow him to be here to answer all the questions.

Sorry I did not get the post's. I spend most of my life in field. I stay at the lodge with my hunters and do not have the internet out there. I still have some spots open on a week to week basis, the birds could leave any time. I like to have groups of 4-6, any more and it is to hard to get everyone to get down and stay still. We still have good numbers in the area, so if you are interested please call me and I will be glad to help out.

Zack, hope the dog training is going good, I might be doing some meberships for Duck, Goose and Dove. If you are interested let me know and we call talk about it. Maybe you could come up and kick the brush one day with us!

It has been typical light goose hunting, some days we really smack them and some days they return the favor, so far our worst day has been 6 birds 4 hunters but 96 shells where spent on the 6. we average around 20 per day.

Allen...can you take a one or two hunters and say put them with another small group. Or do you pretty much just take only groups of say 4 or more?

Do you have a minimum number for a private hunting group?

I keep a list of singles and doubles and put together a group of 4-6 when I get enough.
