I also am on the Field Staff RC Cola and Moon Pie. I am in negotiations with Slim Jim right now. I am not a good hunter or caller but I have hunted with some great hunters and callers. I hunt public and private. I no longer have a boat but when I did, I preferred to motor to a spot and then walk in further to hide. I have one duck band. I have sleep apnea and ADHD. I manage both. If you think you have either, get help, it will change your life and your boss and family will thank you. I have a dog I am training that will get ducks off the water and bring them to me but that is about all she will do.\ I hunt fresh water in TX, AR and WI. You make your own luck.

Have a buddy with a great place that's private Not the greatest on a call... but getting better. Shot a banded mallard drake back in the day. (shot another one but my buddy said he hit it.... YEAH RIGHT. ) Got about 3 dozen regular decoys and 12 full bodies that I really like. Sold my boat before last season, so I guess I will be walking in this year... unless I can pick up a ride. Fresh water only so far. Not the best by any means.... but I love getting out when I can.

I know there are more skilled folks around and a lot bigger barneys out there, but I... - have way more gear than I need and keep adding to it every year. - scout like crazy and have lots of limits on out of the ways spots on public water. - am lucky enough to have access to places out west, south, and north of DFW. - call good enough to turn 'em and bring 'em in. - will go anywhere under any conditions to kill ducks. - have been at it a long time and still have as much fun as anyone in the blind. - have successfully passed this gift/madness down to my son. - can't wait for another season to get here!
