Because of your lack of knowledge and not being directly involved in trial procedures--it's kinda hard to make a factual point with you. YES, law enforcement offices use "manufactured GOLD DOT ammo"---not a reload!! If you want to make a point like that-name me one department that allows their department to shoot reloads!! I said nothing about going to prison. It's all about the money. You (unknowingly) are trying to get to the end result of a trial. The end does not come around for 2 to 3 or more years. In that time, like I posted before---you better stack up a couple hundred thousand to defend yourself. And it's not the "courts" you need to worry about--it's 12 Obama's that are up in that jury box. As to being innocent-I said that's not the point. It's the money trail the plaintiff attorney will be after. This is not about a trigger job or sights. It's about an easy fix to a posted question. It is a shame it has become this way in the courts--but it has. Use factory ammo in your home defense gun and be smart.

Some people are just too dense to get it......

They use manufactured ammo because it's easier to get and the quality is uniform. Not because of some highpowered bullet. Is there really such a thing anyways?

You're right about your first sentence. They don't use reloads because they will be fired! You still have not named one department that allows reloads. On a jacked up load-I used to load a .357 that would shoot a fireball about 2 feet out the muzzle-that was outside the specs, that would drop grizzly and if it hit a man would certainly probably cut him in half. My home defense round for that gun was the Hydra-Shock. Buy the $20.00 box of factory gold dots and avoid the hassle.

Are you seriously this oblivious?

I just told you why police use brand name ammo all time and it's not for some mythical paranoid suit.

Stop running around in circles and have a nice day. I totally debunked everything you said earlier which is why your posts have gotten so short.

Your surely not so stupid that you think the police could not load their own ammo if they were allowed to. Getting components to load quality rounds is no problem. The fact is they are not allowed to do so. The courts would have a heyday questioning a police office as to using a reloaded round. Just buy factory shells and avoid the problem.

Sooooo if he was justified in shooting in the first place he'd still get in trouble for reloads? How stupid of a comment.

According to you there's different levels of dead. Do you still not see the idiocy of your thoughts!

I think I see what the problem is. I'm going to try and take this down to a elementary school level. Justified, right, wrong, correct---does not matter. Most cases---ones you would never see---are settled way before a trial ever occurs. You can be absolutely "justified" to shoot--but a good attorney will pick any part of that shooting to death--and if find one little error-you're in trouble. And this whole time-you've spent a fortune. Non-factory ammo is a problem. On a different note, do you really believe what you are saying, or are you ignorant of what goes on before a trial, or are you just trying to add to your post count. Let's just say--do what you want and use reloads in your defense home gun. I'll do what the police are doing and use Federal Hydra-Shocks. By the way all the officers I know use factory in their off duty weapons also.

Anyways Dustin just shoot the cheap stuff for target and get some gold dots or corbons and bust someone if they come in the house and you fear for your life.

Hydra-shocks, Gold Dots, XTP's...they will all give satisfactory results with the proper load combo. Just depends on what cycles in your pistola the best and what you can hit best with.

You know I how I know you have nothing to respond with? You keep hurling insults whearas I've picked everything you say apart.

But just to humor you I'm going to go ask a lawyer about the different levels of death from shooting someone. So you think I'll look stupid?

They don't care! You wanna know how I know? Well just so happens my dad is a retired 20+ year cop and I asked him. He started laughing.

If it was a big deal don't you think that it would've been covered in my CHL course and in the book that contains EVERY law? You know I'm right and I just proved it more by asking that.

Do you even have a CHL? And ask yourself this, how the hell would they know it's a reload!!!! Do those bullets have special markings? Do you not finally see how crazy your idea is!!!!!

Ignore button is nice

I use gold dots. I got a hold of some tritons 200grs hps from a cop buddy of mine. That is what he carries. I dont know anything about the tritons other that they look similar to XTPs.

You're right-after reading that post-I'm the idiot for trying to educate a high school dropout. "You know I how I know you"-what the heck!!! "whearas"??? Your daddy, give me a break. And please, please, don't go to any attorney-with your mindset--it would make the forum look bad.

Don't know if I keep checking for the drama or maybe some practical info.! To add to the practical side,I think I still have some Black Talons somewhere...and no I don't punch paper and practice with them!

Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock!

What the mindset of common sense? You have nothing is why your posts have only become attempted insults. I asked you some pointed questions repeatedly and you still haven't responded further proving my points.

I'll ask you a THIRD time; do you even have a CHL? And don't you think if it mattered it'd be in the book containing ALL the laws they give you and covered?

And yes I asked my father and he laughed at the notion someone would be more dead if shot with handloads. What's wrong with that? He'd know more than me right?

Umm that is proper english btw.

Look since you won't listen to me go to the XD forum where in law enforcement section the subject has been thoroughly covered by actual cops of various seniority and you'll see that they all agree with me. There I just piled on more rebuttle.

I don't really know your "daddy" so I have no opinion of him.
Do me a favor and google, using reloads in police guns, or
reloads in law enforcement. There you will see numerous police sites addressing this. Almost 100% state their department has specific guidelines to use only their factory ammo-both off duty and on--and personal carry. And it is for the very reasons I have stated all along.

Next, google the name "Massad Ayoob"--click About Massad--I don't think you daddy knows more than this "expert." And by the way he is classified as a expert witness. Next google the case of "N.J. v. Daniel N. Bias" and read it if you can. Also, you're making a big point about CHL. Read Mr. Ayoob's credentials about CHL.
And if you still feel good about yourself, call him and tell him you took a 10 minute test, that you were given the answers and know more that he does. Your going to get the same laugh your daddy gave to you. After you do your reading-get back to me.
