Cabela's has been sold out for awhile now. It's late in the season, but might as well buy one for next year. Does anyone know where I can pick one up at? Does anyone need some cash and want to sell theirs?

Thanks

If you are a do it yourselfer, you can make one of them for a lot less money. The motor that spins this thing is just a windshield wiper motor. You can get them at a junk yard for practically nothing. It just has a iron "Y" welded on the end that the arms slide over. When I got mine out of the box, I was upset that I had just spent that kind of money on it. This summer i plan on making a couple for myself.

DDG are you sure it is a windshield wiper motor? If so pm me with directions on how to make one please.

It,s not the motor thats the problem but the gear reduction on the vortex. Without it you 'll sling those ducks in to orbit.
