No there are other places to go, the U of M was the place that did the study and a lot of folks like them. That's who ISR used.

Funny.

You do realize that all I'm talking about are what is considered industry standards.

People that know what they are doing insist on those standards. People that don't, don't.

What you failed to mention is that is YOUR opinion, not everyone else's.

OP: I have three Iron Spike dogs and couldn't be happier.

Big Sandy is closer to the Dallas area but I went for the longer drive to ISR for their pups... look around at their testimonies of REAL buyers...they produce some awesome pups!

Can't say for other breeders suggested as I have not done business with them, but there are a few my friend's dogs have been fried by....

You know All I have ever seen you do is bash ever person on this site for they're breedings or how they train. You never invole yourself in any other threads. I hope you someday get get bashed like this and see how it feels. I think you are a wanna be breeder and think you know everything about dogs when in reality all you probably know is what you have read on the internet. I wish they would ban you from this site cause you bring nothing good in you opinions or comment ecept negative remarks aginst anybody who does not agree with you. I have seen all the paper work on Dawns dogs and I was satisfied with the health clrearance's and EIC testing. I have a 3 -almost 4- year old, a 7 month old and a 5 month old... I had had another who was given to me and trained by ISR but he died 4 years ago which is when I got his replacement from Iron Spike.

Now you are embarrassing yourself.

I post on here all the time about the wetlands that I own and how I manage it. I am very experienced with my waterfowl habitat. Why? Because I own one and am out there doing it. Look in the archives.

About labs. Yes I think I know what I'm talking about. I own a very nice field trial dog that is with one of the top field trial trainers in the country. I train with him often, and with the other top amateurs that have dogs on the truck. I have handled my own dog in trials and have won (qualifying win). So I think I have a little bit of an idea about top dogs and breeding.

What are yours?

Not a "wanna be" breeder at all....

If she wants to answer my question she can, but she will not....

Oh yea! They are a hoot. The 5 month old launches out of my boat and will retrieve ANYTHING... the 7 month old is growing and getting BIG. And the oldest is my machine!

Not a chance! Those are genetics worth keeping in the gene pool!

Davis, how long have you had the Ironspike pups? Did you buy started or as puppies?

Jbois & JunFan, I'm just curious... y'all two spend a LOT of time and energy trying to run down my kennels. I mean, seriously... it's my kennel and yet you two must spend at least 10x's more time and energy than I do here on THF typing about it. It's really quite astounding.

You've never been to my kennels, have never met me, don't know or have any of my dogs and quite frankly, are going off of a lot of assumptions - which, I might add, are incorrect. I am truly perplexed as to what would drive you to invest so much of yourself in this fruitless activity? It seems rather... um... disproportionate.

Someone innocently asked for a kennel recommendation and you've hi-jacked his entire thread with an assault on my kennels. Y'all did the same with the poor son of a gun who asked about EIC a few months back, too. It makes no sense to me... really.

Dawn,
You are the one out there selling pups on the net. Therefore you open yourself up to questions.

In order to bring this thread to closure, please respond to the following questions:

1) Have the Sire & Dam of your litters been tested for EIC/CNM?

2) Have the Sire & Dam of your litters had their hips/elbows submitted to OFA or PennHip for certification?

If the answer to those is yes, then why are the results on registered not on the OFA registry?

If they have not been tested, then why not?

Thank you.

She does NOT have to answer... who are you to be the testing Natzi? You're just some nameless, faceless (figuratively speaking - I'm specifying because I know you won't be able to decipher that part on your own) person typing on a computer somewhere (just like the rest of us but fortunately some of us have at least met each other in the 'real world').

Back to what I was saying, she does not have to answer....because you are a butt. laugh
