Friend shot a hog and did want to mess with it last night. I cleaned it and packed it in ice, but want to get it to a processor today.

All I have seen around here don't open weekends/Sunday until deer season when they expand their hours. I don't use them, but I heard Broadway Locker doesn't even take game any more until the season. Hog will keep on ice for several days though. Maybe some have a drop off locker, but pretty much too late for that now.
BTW, I live just a few miles south of you in Fair Oaks...

I needed one between Brady and Denton today , every one I checked was closed , even the one in Weatheford that I was told had an after hours cold storage drop off had the cold locker padlocked and the phone number on the top of the list was out of order , we need to start a thread for open on Sunday year round proceesors across the state

Farmer's Market in Boerne picked up the phone.
Answered th ephone at his son's ball game and meet me a couple of hours later and turned the cooler on for me.
I try and have at least one animal processed there every year. Great people.

theres one out here thats a 24/7 locker. Wilson county meat market. I could get info for future refs if necessary.

Dzuks ?sp in castroville has an overnight locker you can drop it off in. not sure if they're open on suday.

You need to call all of the locker plants in San Antonio, ask them iff they have an emergency number for drop-offs on Saturday or Sunday. There may be an extra fee invloved. I know that if I called Presa Locker Plants, tey would meet me there because I have a long standing relationship with them. I do not know about any of the others. Does not hurt to call and ask so that you are better prepared next time. Scout motto....."BE PREPARED"!!
