i have a year old lab is she to old to learn how to rabbit hunt and if not then how would i start her out

ive taught older dogs tricks, its not hard........but, to rabbit hunt, hmm my opinion, shot you a rabbit, and let her play with it , like a tennis ball, throw it around, let the dog get used to the scent, get the dog excited about the rabbit, then.after the dog plays with it awhile, take her out in the field and let her chase some rabbits.now ive owned about 8 retrievers(golden) and man i didnt have to train them to rabbit hunt, cause they jus always chased them.......and caught ALOT!!!!

Take her out spotlighting rabbits and she will learn very quickly how to trail by scent.
