My neighbor just gave me about 40 deeks, Mallards and pintail. Can anyone tell what brand they are? They look better than my beat-up deeks. Said he has a re-loader he is going to give me as well, he said he never duck hunts any more.

I still use a few just like that. There have been at least 2 different flam designs since those. I have a few flams from the last 3 different designs that get mixed in the spread.

Killed many ducks over those silly Flambeaus. We would sandpaper down the beaks on the hens for a little more realistic look. Also, no matter how you put em in the decoy bag that Pintail Drake is always going to stab you in the back when you put the sack on your back.

Good decoys, bad habit of laying on their side if throwing them out, almost have to set them out. That sure can mess up a first bunch of ducks early in the morning.

Sold 8 doz sprig decoys w/mesh decoys bags last summer at a garage sale for $100.

Plug the keels with silicone at one end then fill full of sand, then plug the other end with silicone. Problem solved on tossing them out. I still hunt over a bunch that I bought in 86 and 88. They out swim the Averys hands down.
