I walked into my office this morning and my boss told me to come in his office because he wanted to give me something. He hands me an autographed snow goose call by Glynn Scobey. My first thought was WOW..this thing is sweeeet! (I had no idea who Glynn Scobey was though)

Apparently my boss picked this up sometime in the 1960's and I believe that Glynn didn't start making production calls until the late 1970's. Apparently this call is an original all hand-carved and hand-painted snow goose call. I think you can pick up one now for around $40 but they are production calls.

To say the least I was delighted and hopefully I can return the favor someday to a young kid.

Sweet! I know that I hate to hear about any of my calls that end up sitting on a shelf somewhere. I want that thing out in the field bringin in birds.
