dont know if anyone has ever used them before but i tried them and they suck A$$. i have 3 of the six that i bought left. the nocks are weak, cause i have had 2 arrows take a path to no where when ever i shot cause the nocks break when i shot.plus the carbon is weak on them. i was cleaning some blood off of two off them when it snapped in half. on top of it all they are 39.99 at academy for half a dozen(not worth it)so whats a good arrow for a good price???? i shoot a 30in draw @67lbs i was shooting 300gr

I have 30 in/70 lb and I had a bad experience with the redhead carbon furys from bass pro. half of them split near the end and a couple of them looked to not be straight anymore. So I went a bought some gold tips from bass pro for $80. They archery expert said this would be the next step up. I will try them out. I didnt and wont spend $100-150 on arrows

I'm sure you'll be happier w/ the GT's. That's what I use.

I use the Beaman ICS "bowhunter" and like them alot. If i were to swap id go with victory.

GT makes good arrows....pay a little more for good quality

i bought a recurve bow recently and i haven't hit the taqrget yet but i have shot thru the fence and into the ground and etc. and haven't busted one yet.

The Beaman ICS hunters are a good arrow for the $80/dozen price. What spine were you shooting (340's, 400's, etc)? If you shot an animal and were cleaning blood off it is possible that the arrow hit bone or the ground on a pass through and broke the arrow and just couldn't tell because it was bloody.

well i bought some carbon express arrows and some easton excel so i will see which ones perform better for me

I've used Beman ICS Hunter arrows for years with no issues. They work fine for me.

thanks for everyones info. i do practice daily so i do shoot alot of arrows and go threw alot of arrows so i usually try to stick to your cheaper but good arrows if you know what i mean. i can afford to buy 120.00 a dozen arrows especially when i blow threw a dozen in no time

A $6 arrow will kill just as well as a $10 arrow in my opinion.

You really shouldn't be blowing through arrows during practice. Are you missing the target? Are you hitting arrows with another arrow? Something doesn't sound right.

i have torn up the majority of the arrows from hitting other arrows and where i live i think was built on a rabbit mound cause we have hundreds of rabbits and ive been shooting the piss out of them but i always check the arrows to see if they are craked and the beamans crack easier than the easton excels i have used before.i shot 14 rabbits last night and not a single problem with the easton excels

I shot them for years and never had problems with them. But I switched to Gold Tips in 2005 and have never looked back. My accuracy with their arrows is better and the arrows seem to perform better.

I almost bought the ICS hunters before at bass pro cause i saw they were cheaper then what i was paying at my pro shop, then i realized.... there is a difference in ICS hunters, and ICS hunter Elite's. I shoot the elites with my Reezen at 30.5 and 70# and my monster 7.0 at 30.5 and 65#'s. they are some good arrows.

I shoot maxima 350's but I would like to try a less exspensive arrow around the same weight as the maxima's. Any I dea's, I was thinking about the ICS bowhunter's, any of you ever shot those?

Correct. But it won't if you can't hit what you are shooting at. What you are typically paying for with high end arrows is tighter consistency and manufacturing standards across the board. That leads to greater accuracy. If all I was going to do was carry one arrow or I was only going to shoot to 20 yards then I would be fine with cheap arrows that are manufactured with more variability in straightness, spine, etc. I carry a quiver full (5 for me) of arrows when hunting and I know that if I do my job they will all hit the same spot out to 80 yards and more. I used to shoot Gold Tip XT's. They are great arrows. Unfortunately, I always seemed to have 2 or 3 out of each dozen that were off just a little bit from the others. I always number my arrows and if the same arrow is a "flyer" every time then it is the arrow.......not the shooter. I switched to the A/C/C Prohunters and I still have my arrows numbered. I still get an occasional flyer but I know it as soon as the arrow leaves the bow because it is something that I did.....not the arrow.

I know plenty of folks who kill plenty of deer with cheap arrows. Heck, I still use my GT's for pigs because my shots are typically right at 20 yards for pigs and if I put a bad shot on a pig then to me it isn't that big of a deal. On a good buck.....huge deal to me to put the shot where it needs to be.

To each his own. It doesn't matter to me what anybody else shoots. As long as it makes you happy and you are competent and familiar with each piece of equipment you use then that is what is important.

I don't know what spine you were shooting or what DL and DW you are at, but I've used them for hunting and had no problem with them whatsoever. BTW, I'm not a newbie, I've been shooting competition and hunting over 40 years. I've even shot some 3D with them.

well maybe i just got a bad batch cause i did decide to try them out again and havent had any problems so far i shouldnt of made a bad post about them without really shooting them more

It's possible you got a bad batch, I've had arrows (all brands) that I've had break, but usually it was because I did something stupid with them. Like field testing broadheads, or shooting animals that like to hide behind rocks ..
