I'm pretty sure they are not. I have both but never paid that much attention to the difference.
They may be really similar but I don't think they are interchangeable.

9mm curtz (or something similiar) is the same is .380.

NO! They are not the same. Close in performance but there are dimensional differnces.

380 is 9mmKurtz or 9x17
9mm markov is 9x18
9mm(standard) is 9x19

ok. thanks. academy in college station had about 300 boxes of makarov on the shelf and no 380. champion firearms has 380 if anyone is interested though...
