I have been searching and searching and still no luck really. I am trying to find a place to go turkey hunting or any hunting for that matter. I live up in Wichita County I cant find anything around where to lease or any public land at all. Unless I have a ton of money in which like most people I dont. I would like to hunt hog and deer as well when the season comes back around. If anyone at all can point me in any direction I would appriciate it very much.

http://www.teacupmountain.com/ I believe this is not to far from you. Walk in turkey hunting. I hear they have a giant turkey roosting area, off limits of course.

Are you up around Wichita Falls? I am not familiar with the counties. There are not as many public areas up north but if you get your public permit you will get a booklet with all the public hunting areas in the State.

I do know there are a few places around that offer day hunting. You might want to go to the Hennrietta turkey fest and watch the thrifty nickle. Land is not cheap to lease annually unless it is very small. You might be able to budget your self to several day hunt outings. I hope this helps!!! If you are not interested in this please PM me and let me know your budget. I do stumble across some leases here locally that I do not use for my outfitting business.

I've heard that is some good hunting, I have not been yet, hope to take care of that soon.
