I just season and put worcestershire on it, then stick it in the fridge for a few hours, flipping them occassionally. I'd hate to screw up a good ribeye with the flavored type marinades. confused2

Salt and pepper, a good steak does not need a marinade, imo.

I have the butcher cut my ribeye steaks 1 1/2 " Thick. Salt,Pepper, and Worchestershire. Let meat come to room temp and cook on charcoal or wood med rare. After pulling off fire let it rest a few minutes before cutting to keep juice from running out. food

While I'm not a fan of marinades on a good rib-eye, my daughter brought some Tequila Lime Marinade that she bought at HEB. We cooked some steaks at the ranch with it and it was really good. I added some fresh garlic to it and that made it even better.

I let them sit in it for bout 4 hours.

Bartender, bring me anything except brake fluid, cause I don't plan on stopping!

My dad used to demand t-bones every weekend. He would put a little lime juice on them and Lawrys Seasoned salt and black pepper before he prepared the coals for the pit. After the fire was ready he would flash cook them and they were good. I have been doing them like that for ever. Try it.

We use one that's quick and easy, and can be used for all types of meat that is being grilled. Mix equal parts of A1 Sauce and honey and pour into one (or more) large freezer bags. Place the meat pieces into the bag(s), seal, and shake until the meat is coated. Leave in the refrigerator overnight, and remove before time to grill so the meat can lose it's chill. You can make more of the marinade to brush on the meat after removing it from the grill.
