Anyone been to this place or heard of it?
I have read some things, and heard some things about some of these ranches be a rip off. I seen a post for this place by Walnut Springs, and am interested in going. It is $100 for day or night, no kill fee, no size limit, no bag limit. Just wondering if this is to good to be true.

This is what gives pay for hunts a bad name in Texas. These guys should get a diffrent line on work.............

that is what we get for letting westfork book hunts for us and charging double our advertised rates and useing ficticious sales tactics i am truly sorry that some one came to our place caught and killed a hog and they are upset our website does not advertise 1700 acres for hunting and never has and the person on craigslist is front page of westforks website smiling with their kill this is hunting not killing we are low fenced and advertised that way we do not gaurantee a kill and have had several succesfull hunts and happy clients we keep 17 feeders running year round and maintain over 21 stands we deliver to and from the stand we clean and pack game on ice for clients we even offer a store run for our clients once a day so they can relax and enjoy their trip. We are very involved wit the youth of this sport and dont even charge for a child hunter to come to the ranch and bag a hog we are a very profesionaly run operation and if that particular client was so upset why would he tip the guide on his way out of the ranch?!!!!!! It is bad apples like this "that have a sucsefull hunt" that iritate me to no end.

westfork was a previous guide on the ranch that refused to take care of the land due to all of his efforts in advertising we allowed him to sell hunts for our ranch for a percentage of the fee in my own fault i was not staying on top of his advertising as well as raising our advertised rates he was advertising our ranch to be much larger than what it actualy was only by a 1000 acres in my book that is huge acording to the post on the hog/dog hunt that was booked on our ranch by west fork the client paid nearly 600 bucks for it to him i am extremly sorry that was a 300 dollar hunt which is what i was paid and made sure they went on and they did have a sucesfull trip and took a hog rest assured no more hunts will be booked thru west fork guide service on our ranch it has been one money grubbing problem after another our ranch is advertised as a working cattle ranch just under 700 acres which is what it is and i am terribly sorry for any mis repasentation of our ranch

wow, ok so westfork ran those hunters, I assume by the way this is going. But he is slamming YOU, when he was the drunk running the hunts and double pricing??? He also has the Great Adventures on his web site, or is that YOUR web site???

Lol I wouldn't. The truth is starting to come out about your service and your just angre because we dropped your service because we have a 3 strike rule for outfitters. You had 3 complaints from 3 different hunting parties in one week. We take those complaints seriously as we only want the best outfitters and guides in our service. And as far as doubling a price, not even close. If you gave us a wholesale price of $100 for a hunt, we resold it for $125 and sometimes $150 depending on it being a weekend or not. Advertising, websites, phone calls they all cost money we did it for you at a very low profit to help you out. But I guess you will learn not to bite the hand that feeds you.

or kills you and runs your outfit into the ground just so i am sure this is clear with every one it is my fault for not staying on top of contractors we engage business with i will assure you this will never be an issue again we will book our own hunts and clients will know what to expect when they arrive at our ranch to those of you who have suported us in our first year of thr hunting business thank you and god bless

I'm not trying to ruin any reputation, your past clients are doing that for you. Is the argument on the pricing I charged. I have the invoices for every client and they all fall in the price range that I stated above. Look this is not the place for a argument, we have 700 happy clients that keep hunting at all of the ranches we book for. They keep coming back to us over and over again, but I lost a few because of your service which is why I dropped your service from our ads. I have zero tolerance for that kind of business. I ended up paying for hunts on other ranches we book for and it was out of pocket because of your wrong doing.

You know if you have had so many successful hunts with your service. Why don't you post them on your website?

Every picture on my website I took or one of my guides took. I've found countless ads from your service containing copied pictures from my tree cams that even say West Fork in the bottom right corner. Heck, even you contract on your site is copied from mine almost word for word. I even have the original full size colored map I made for your property, that you copied off of our site before we stopped our ad campaign for you. The facts are out there and anyone can search online and see your ads containing our pictures, word documents and maps.

If I were looking for a hog hunt, and reading all this, I wouldn't book with neither, that way I wouldn't worry about getting riped off. He said, he said is not helping neither one of yalls business. Each time yall post against each other just keep raising flags against yall's business, so why even take a chance with either one of yall's hunts. JMO, I am just John Doe looking for a hog hunt.

Yeah, thats understandable. It's just hard to hold back when I see something that is just a lie about West Fork and that clients are finally speaking out against him.

My hunts speak for themselves and there are many people who can speak of how great there hunting expeience was with either me personally or with on of my guides or outfitters. It just makes me sick to see this, if this continues, I will email all of my clients and see if they will input in this so that the facts are layed on on the table and the truth is out there.

You are not getting it I guess, I can have all my buddys that YOU don't know, post all day long about my outfitting business and how great it is, I don't even have a outfitting business.

A ducking hunting business did these very same thing on here, and I a sure you, it did not help his business at all IMO.

This is my last post regarding this. I tell ya what, I will just go the Sqiggy's place and hunt hogs all weekend for $75 and not worry about it.

Hmmm, I wonder who referred the Great Adventure program to you since we are a sponsor for Great Adventures. They go to alot of our outfitters in our program, thats in all of our new contracts of service to allow at least 1 outting per year.

I think this is a case of 2 people trying to run down the other...

If I were either one of you, i would just drop it and work on satisfying my customers......
As of right now.....I don't think I would book with either one of you......JMO
