So im turning 18 next year and am always hunting and do not want to pay 300 bucks if i only get one shot to hunt. Anyone know if i can purchase that lifetime hunting license for texas if i live in another state and if not how long do i have to live in texas to become a resident?

Thanks

The only reason i work, is so that i could afford to hunt.

When you get your Texas driver's license with a "permanent" address, you're a resident and can get the license.

I think it is 6 mos...generally

You Need to talk to the agency you are working with.

DL as stated above or sometimes a utility bill will count as residency.

6-months and a DL. There may be some other rules if you are a student.
