Red fox urine! You can buy it at alot of feed stores.

Throw some stray cat up there should solve the problem

Live traps give them a chance to leave and live... pellet gun when they don't...

Go to a feed store and get the rat poison bars. I would think they would eat those.

Ive heard that a strobe light works. And a mirror ball with some laser lighting and some beegees music. That would get me to leave for sure. In all seriousness though. Find where they are coming in and put heavy wire mesh across it during the day when they are out. Then get your pellet gun out in the evening as it is getting dark and go wait for them at the entrance.

Find out where they're getting in and block the entrance/exit. Once they get hungry/thirsty you can catch them in a live trap.
Get a pellet gun and stay after them after that. I know a guy who lives in NRH area and had some squirrel problems a while back. He's killed 2-3 a week since and last count he'd shot over 400 total.
Shoot. Eat. Repeat.

Find the hole or holes they use and narrow it down to one and use a yote snare. Eliminated a family of 5 in my attic. Tried the live traps but they were to smart for that. Tried blocking the hole thing and they chewed thru that.

Just have to make sure that the wife isn't home because they are sooo cute!!

I've got one, or five, living in the covered walkway between the house and garage. Sounds like he's doing renovations up there. Does the Fox Urine thing really work? Would break my heart to have to do some squirrel hunting!(when wife's not home)

We had the same thing and called a company to come out. They basically put a one way cage over the hole they chewed in the side of the house. The squirrel could not get back in and I patched the hole with wire mesh.
The squirrels then decided the other side of the house was better so they chewed in that side. I built my own cage this time and installed it. That kept them out and I once again patched the hole with wire mesh.
I also setup a "bird feeder" in the backyard and filled it with deer corn. I keep a pellet gun by the couch and can shoot from the couch out the back door to the feeder. The tails are piling up and my 5yo son loves to come get me when there are squirrels at the feeder. "Daddy!!! Shoot him, shoot him!" I'm so proud :onetear:

Moth balls. I've used them and they work. The smell will knock you down in the attic, but I can't smell them in the house and the critters leave. Thanks!!! Matt
The psycho nut bags have always been there. They just get better press now. Take away their guns, they'll use knives. Take away their knives and they'll use sticks!!

Place a few moth balls in the attic and use wire cloth to make a covering for the hole they're using to get in so it will only let them out. Once they have gone you can cover the hole, if you clos eit off before they arte out they will just knaw a new hole.

It took me a year to get rid of them. Found out they were running along the fence and jumping on the garage roof to get in the house. So I put a live trap along the fence with no bait and they would run through and get caught. I'd drive them about 10 miles away and let them go. Google "squirrel studies" on the internet- some dude caught a bunch, spray-painted their tails fluorescent colors, and drove them off and let them go. Something like 80% of them found their way back unless you drove them at night in zig-zag diagonals or some such stuff. I figured if the ones I let out made it back across Central and 635 they deserved to live. After they wised up to the trap, I loaded up the bird feeder. Took out 4 that way until one climbed the fence and expired in the neighbor's yard, bleeding all over the driveway. It looked like one or two were left and I didn't want to seal them up in the attic to die and stink up the place- too many horror stories about them dying, falling down inside a wall and stinking/leaking through the wall. Some Einstein at work told me to take two paintbrushes, screw them into the eaves so the bristles were covering the opening, then coat them with Vicks Vaporub. All that did was make the little bastages breath better. So I took to sitting out there every afternoon at work, crouched down behind a garbage bin with pellet gun in hand. One would stick it's head out, then pull it back in. Then come out a little, then back in. Never did leave enough time for a clean shot and if I missed it was towards the neighbor's house. So after about 2 weeks of this, I put up a new vent cover on the eave and said "I'm done". I waited about a week in the summer and unscrewed the cover and the 2 remaining survivors shot out of there and headed for water, I guess. I tore the fence down and keep the trees trimmed away from the house now and they've moved on to the guy across the street's house........

A buddy of mine had problems with them getting into his attic. He tried all kinds of crap, finally got pissed and poisoned the little suckers. Bad idea cause a couple of them died in the attic
