it supposedly just started coming up to the house and she started feeding it. now it just stays there. she says you can't pet it because it will swat at you.

My buddies dad has one that he has raised since it wat a kitten. To this day if his pops isn't around i don't want to be NEAR it. It goes crazy, not nearly as tame as the one pictured above seems.

Some people in Vivian Louisiana had one as a pet several years ago. Thinking it was tamer than it actually was they let one of there small 3 year olds too close. Cat swiped the better part of the face off the poor kid. Heard the child died from the wounds at hospital. Sad story I know, but some people will never learn.

If it's a female, what's gonna happen when she comes into heat and the males start coming to visit? That might get real interesting later on. You guys ever hear a bob-cat in heat? That noise they make is eeeeerrrrrriiiiieeeee!

there was a farm we used to go out to and party when I was in high school...think the old dudes off Varsity Blues...anyways they had a bobcat they raised from a kitten, got to be pretty late in the evening and I ddn't know they had it just running loose, walked/stumbled to my truck and this thing comes full speed at me and jumped on the hood of my truck, bought freaked out an tried to pull a gun on it til they came out and hollered at me not to shoot it~!

Also had a pet Buzzard named Leonard when I was a kid. People call me and my family the Clampets for nothin'!
