here are a couple of pics of our hunt that only lasted about 30 minutes. the hunt is 1 and a half hours from dallas . for you duck hunters out there think about next year and let me know what you think. we killed our limit and could have killed 10 more limites if we had enough people.

let me know if any interest

Nice carnage pic. It looks like a hog ribcage in the back, but there is usually a head or arse attached.

Nice job, but if you had that many ducks you coulda waited on more greenheads. confused2 I'll shoot ringers but not if there is a better option.

He kept telling me to wait and I was like F that but while we were picking up they kept coming in. I can assure you he has tanks ALL over his property and there were plenty of ducks that day. There is one tank he calls the mallard pond and he is not joking.

I typically do not post in this section because of all the haters I hope this post stops going south.

well i have that many duck and yes i know that we could have shot more green heads and other more popular ducks... but i wanted lefty to have a good time and limit out so i told him it was what ever he wanted to shoot, shoot, and keep shooting. yes if i wanted to limit out with 5 and 1 mallards i can every day. but since i was watching someone have a great time i didnt care.

Can't argue with that, but you guys should have shot two more ducks to get a limit (that pair of hooded mergansers don't count against your duck limit).

Which direction from Dallas?

Well if you think this thread was going south then you don't have thick enough skin to post in here anyway. I was complimenting you. I will shoot ringers in the face to, but not if I can shoot greenheads. I am no duck snob. And I agree with hoghunta that it's more about the experience of just getting out there with your buddy and dog. But if you have the option to shoot mallards over ringnecks then well...you shoot the mallards.
