Well I am off of here for today. I will wait on the PMs and see who is going. Still have room for 2, from the list. Just because these 8 have so called committed doesn't mean it is a for sure. It's a for sure when they(us) send deposits in. So there may still be room, for others. Keep your eyes peeled. Roy

Looks like y'all done filled up. However, if another spot opens up, give me a holler.

The deposits will be mailed to 350ranch(jerry) Half is required to hold your spot. Just so everyone knows, If you back out, you do not get you deposit back! Not our rules, thats what the owner does. If you can not make it, then we will go on to the alternate list. The 10 that are signed up, if you now see you can't make it, let me know and we will proceed to the next hunter. PM Jerry when you have a chance to get his address and how he wants the deposits made(check, money order ect)Thanks and hope to see everyone there.

OK MC, you got my eye brow up. Sounds like you have some info we may need, before we pull this off. Please elaborate. I know it's only 300 dollars but I don't want our group getting the shaft. By the way he now has a Hispanic lady, that cooks. Seriously tell us what you know before we commit, thanks, Roy.

Allright Forum guys and gals that are going PLEASE READ!!! I just got off the phone with 350ranch. Let me give you some details about this hunt and the ranch. Bob the owner has waived the trophy fees, ON THE LOW FENCE AREA ONLY!! We are basically paying the daily fees of 150 dollars a day , or 300 dollars total per person. Jerry has been there numerous times, but states the Rams are more FREE Range. Another words, he does not go in the week before and puts a ton of Rams, with tags to be shot at. It ain't gonna be no slaughter fest, be guaranteed that. With that said this is NOT A GUARANTEED HUNT. If your going to this place to positivly take a Ram it may not happen. Rams on his place are come and go. You may or may not have an oppurtunity at a Ram. We don't want to mislead any of you in any way. If you do want a Ram, under high fence, you can talk to Bob personally when we meet there. You and him can work out whatever you want, for a hunt in the high fence. I am not wanting to discourage anyone, I just don't want you to go in thinking you will see a ton of rams, or for that matter hogs. This is hunting, and in my opion isn't as "canned hunts" as we have talked about. The terrain is very, very tough. Shooting lanes may be where you have just a few seconds to decide to shoot. All weapons, bow, rifle, handgun ect are welcome. Bob has a few rules and here are just a few I recieved from Jerry. Sow hogs with piglets, can not be shot. Aoudads are not Rams, and are priced higher. No Ewes(girl rams ) may be shot. He is trying to build his stock. There are numerous Exotics, work out what if anything you want with Bob at the time we meet. The trailer is nice. It has bunkbeds(8), 2 tables, lounge chairs ect. It isn't the Hilton, but Jerry assures me it is very nice and adequate. All meals are provided. Jerry said they even provide soft drinks, fruits ect. Alcohloic beverages for TCH, Sag and Hwy_Man will be brought in at your own expense. Rev. Roy will bring Holy Water of course These hunts are from stands. There are elavated bow stands, box blinds on ridges and elavated box blinds. Transportation to and from the stands is provided. Any concerns at all, please PM 350ranch. He stated he will be happy to talk to anyone by phone with any concerns, one might have. The deposits will go through 350ranch, who will forward them onto the ranch. Checks, certified checks, money orders are best for the deposits. The remainder of the money will be paid in CASH to Bob when we arrive. Hope to see everyone there and looking forward to a great time and hunt. Roy

Around 75% was what I was told when I asked the very same question the first time I went down there. My first trip with a group of 4 hunters we took 3 rams and 1 hog. My 2nd trip with me and my better/half I did not take anything, but I was there hunting low fence auodad. My 3rd trip I took 1 aoudad and 1 fallow. My last trip 2 hunters we took 1 120lb hog and 1 70lb hog. And on all but 1 trip I have seen rams. I have seen hogs on very trip.

I talked to Jerry a while ago, super nice guy by the way. He said they are regularly seeing rams now and they will be feeding more before we arrive to keep the sheep on the ranch. He did say you could hunt as much as you want, day or night. Everyone will be taken out and picked up at a certain time unless you want to make prior arrangements. And, each hunting area has a bow and rifle stand. He also said that there are plenty of hogs there as well that can be hunted at night. The best part, IMO, is that it is a fair chase hunt with many possibilities on what you might see.

I'm thinking that should a free range auodad come by I hope I can get the shot off before Pam hits me over the head with the butt of her rifle.
