I'm looking for 2 reloading manuals that would be good for a first time reloader. What would you suggest and anyone got one or two for sale?

X2 You might also consider the computer software version of reloading manual (Sierra Infinity software) with the ballistic program if you enjoy long range shooting.

I use Lyman and Lee more than any I have. . . The books from Sierra,IMR,Nosler,etc....only have their respective bullets or powders listed. I just got a Lee computer CD and there is a lot of useful info and personal record files to be used and also a target printing program. I think I paid 10-12 dollars

The more you can get the better Mainly for cross referance Also, most of the bullet makers have online access, use the search on your web, like.. hornady 165 gr. .30 cal load data it will give you all the loads, min./max hope that helps

Use the ones on-line. Crazy to pay for them.

Lyman and Lee. Lots of good info in them. If I could only have one it would be the Lee, more load data then any of the others by far.

I use the manuals or online data for the bullets I plan on loading for.
I agree it isn't necessary to own them, but it is nice to have them in-hand to research other calibers you might be interested in purchasing in the future.

Get the Lee manual and read it cover to cover, twice.
Matter of fact, I have a book called the ABC's of Reloading that is by Lee and is basically a reloading manual without the load data. Lots of good info. It was the first one I bought. You are more than welcome to it if you want it.

I just got the Lyman manual and now I realize how much information was missing from the Hornady one I had already. Lyman has primer information which is really hard to find. Hornady had 6.8 SPC information that some of the others don't carry.
