I'm a new bow hunting and getting ready for spring turkey season any suggestions on a good tree stand for an affordable price?
The only reason i work, is so that i could afford to hunt.

You don't need a tree stand for turkey season; in fact, I think that would be a terrible way to hunt them. Ground blind or up against a tree behind brush is a much better method.
If you're looking for a ladder stand during the summer for fall deer season, look at Dick's Sporting Goods. They put their cheapest ladder stands on sale for $50-60 at some point during the summer.

Wow I don't think that would work very well for bow hunting. 8ft off the ground? Double that and then we are talking.

If your new to bowhunting I would say being on the ground would be a better idea if its your first time. When your up in the air then you have angles to deal with, afterall a turkey is much smaller than a deer. I would also think shooting down would ruin quite a bit of the little meat that a turkey does have. JMO

I would suggest using a ground blind. Believe it or not turkeys look up and if your not already in the drawn position.... then your busted when the time comes. I am not saying that it can't be done , but your success rates are better from the ground blind. Either way happy hunting and good luck.
