now dont get me wrong, i love cabela's. but really? $64.99~$79.99 for 12 life size deke's? GHG. i paid $30 (normally $40, military discount) at sportmans warehouse. same exact ones they're selling at cabela's. seems like a rip off to me...

I went to Cabelas in Buda the other day and they didn't even have any decoys.

So, I bought 5 dozen or so from someone here on the THF forum

No, I guess he isn't man enough to answer his phone.

I'm still leaving messages on his cell phone though, left him a good one about an hour ago. Give him a call and see if you can contact him, or leave him a message!

My little grandson is pretty broken hearted ofer this deal. This guy told me the dog was mine and then evidently welshed on the deal. He is definatly a 4-flusher type!

I've had better experiences in Cabelas than Bass Pro. Once scored on some silo sock snows rags for half off because it was clearance.

cabelas is also excellent after duckseason if you are going on a ski trip, probably 30-60% cheaper than the ski store, if you dont mind wearing camo on the slopes
at least i dont

You actually have no idea what you are talking about in several areas here. First as far as prices they were pretty good...most things they were better than cabelas...I would often go to both stores on the same day so I have first hand knowledge here. Second they shut down because the company as a whole sold out to some other company who then closed all the stores in the south.

the only good thing about a cabelas store is the bargin cave, the rest of it is worthless...Sportsmans was the best outdoors store in the austin area.

Attention rickym, this is not a troll post, just a good hearted fun type of post

Just one more small correction - the company sold most of its stores, not all, because the owner went through a very nasty divorce.
