The hogs were very spooky. I blew one stalk taking too long. They moved and the breeze shifted - busted. The hog I got was in another small group that started running before I got into position. I was lucky to get one. They couldn't have heard or smelled me. I've stalked within 20 yards of hogs during the day when bowhunting. It seems like they see better at night with no moon. Some believe animals see the UV glow in clothes, so I wash mine with no UV brightners and they still spooked. Sometimes I think they have a sixth sense.
