Even though duck season over I am always looking . Not seeing many and you would think with these fronts and no pressure we would be seeing some.

I'm officially done with winter. The man has made me stop shooting ducks, and it's too cold to fish comfortably. Make it stop!

The birds always show up great right after season closes.

I was in Detroit last week. There was a small frozen pond outside my hotel room that several hundred mallards would try and land on every evening. It was sicking

They are all at the pond at the end of my street, or over behind the police department in the big pond. Man down the street puts about 20 pounds of corn out every afternoon and I would be there are about 150-200 mallards there in his yard everyday.

i think that the ducks are thicker now, after season than they were during the season. It is pretty sad, every day on my way home from work i drive past a large pond that i could count 40-150 ducks on every time i drive by, and i also held a good population of canadians a few weeks back. To bad it is only about a 1/2 mile outside of Frisco.

I'm seeing mallards all over the Trinity River right next to downtown dallas where I've been working my dog. Weird sight to see with the buildings in the background. I'm just glad I haven't come across any bodies down there yet......

there is about 100-150 on these local ponds here in McKinney including Shovelers, mallards, GW, Scaup (im pretty sure from about 50 yrds away). Alot of these divers, not sure what they are called, they are solid black, almost big as a canadian and some friends back in Oklahoma called them water turkeys. confused2 which i was told are illegal to shoot there.

i went to oklahoma for a snow geese hunt last monday and nothin in central eastrern part by the Sequoyah national refuge, man that place is setup nice for a bunch of birds. lots and lots of acerage of fields for birds that migrate thru there.

I have seen more ducks in the last two weeks on stock tanks and on local lakes than I saw most of the season
