cut a small hole in the bottom and fill the entire decoy with "great stuff" expanding foam.

First, drill hole and remove pellet or you will be reminded of the incident twice during the hunt.

If it's not below the water line, I don't fool with it.

Did your no teal shootin' arse brother shoot up the dekes on your jerk rig, too? Not a single GWT feather, but took out all three of my mallard dekes on the line. Blew the bill clean off one of 'em, the other two are now rattlers. They were really old and due to be replaced anyway so I'm not gonna try to patch any of them.

I can't believe noboby's said duck tape! I'm gonna try hot glue, then melted worm. It is above the water line right in the shoulder of a brand new GHG mallard drake I bought this season-so repair is the way to go.

I won't sink if it's above the water line, what's the problem? I think that 2/3 of my decoys have shot in them now, lol. Comes from shooting mallards in the face, only the face.

Kdub is a professional at this. I still don't know why you hate dekes so much???
the thing about baiting is, even a rookie hunter could have a 170 bird season if they bait holes

or try this, don't shoot the deke's, and you won't have to repair them. 7 years hunting and still have yet to tag a deke

JB Weld or silicon. I used to have a friend that was notorious for hitting decoys. I hit one this year myself.
