I was looking at the guts of that thing. Yes it is a bad arse but I would not want to the expense of maintaining that thing.

Speaking from the experience of having owned a few high performance boats.......You do not want to have to maintain this thing! The fuel consumption is the least of your worries. Add hydraulics and WOW!

I can't imagine as heavy in the back it would be that it would be as good as a traditional mud boat anyway. But no matter it has the cool factor pegged wink

I've seen the boat in person at a Poker Run in South LA. Trust me. It will run circles around a traditional mud boat or motor for that matter.

It is also available with a 240 hp mazda supercharged rotary engine. It is made just below New Iberia La. And the former governor of La has one. Awesome boat, and will pretty much go anywhere. I want one, but when you see the price tag it is pretty steep. There is a twin engine model available also. But I think he stopped making these and has concentrated on the airboats instead.
