Does any one own or know some one who owns a diamondback 380? I went to look at the LCP and the gunshop yesterday and the sales guy had me compare them. The trigger was better and it had real sights. It looks and felt like a tiny glock! I heard someone split from kel-tec and formed this company, but yea any opinions or input would be helpful. http://www.diamondbackfirearms.com/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCMZXvCWLks

yea looks like this company is banking on us not being able to get those 380 glocks. They would be banking correctly. The Glock 380's have never and will never be imported into the USA. Not sure how it all works with the ATF, but somehow that specific Glock doesn't meet the required import points. The other thing is the Glock 380 is the exact same size as the 26/27/33. If I am going to have a gun that size it is going to pop something with more wumpa than a 380. If you really want a 380, look at the Colt Mustang or Pony. They don't make them anymore, but they are still available on the used market. Probably one of the best 380's ever. I do like the looks of the Diamondback. What was the selling price?

I have never seen a .380 1911 variant that ran reliably. I hope the new Sig is better than the Colt versions were. As much as I like them, and as cute as they are, they are just not reliable in my personal experience. This Diamond Back does look good though. Really, I have had no trouble with the Kel-Tec P3AT or the Ruger LCP. To me they are the benchmark pocket gun.

1911 variant? That would be a stretch. And they do not have a reputation of not running dependably.

I've got a Colt Pony Pocketlight and it is a sweet little gun. Don't carry it anymore because it's a darn near a collector's item now.
The last issue of American Rifleman had reviews on the top 10 or 12 .380's. You might want to look that up. The Diamondback wasn't on there though.

just looked at another gun store, the first one had the DB380 for 400$, and the one near my house has it for 329$, looks like i might have to pick one up and let yall know how it shoots.
ps. The gun store owner said this brand and gun has only been on hte market for a few months, he said they make them a few blocks from kel-tec and the company used to make airboats....

I love the looks and feel of this new Walther. Does anyone have any experience with one? http://www.walther-pps.com/I wish Glock would make something this size.

I looked at one of these Sunday at the gun show and to say it's a small gun would be an understatement. I personally didn't care for the feel of the gun, but it would be very easy to carry in a pocket holster.

I carry the micro desert eagle 380. Small but easy to control while rapid firing. Carry it in my front pocketan most important it always goe's bang when I pull the trigger.

I talked to a guy at Big Town this past weekend about the Diamondback. He was a glock armor(sp) and said the upper was almost identical to a glock. The lower trigger, etc was a good bit different though.
