Has anybody ever heard of these folks? I found them while browsing Gunbroker. They are selling a complete lower (with stock, mag tube, LPK installed) for $99. Here's the rub- the lower is polymer. I've read a little bit about them on a few AR forums, seen a few videos on Youtube, but never spoken to anyone who actually has one. So, has anyone ever seen one in person? I figure that even if the lower melts, I still have an LPK and a stock/buffer/tube to throw in the parts box... http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=156679484

Very interesting idea and concept!!!!!!! Don't see why it would not work and be a good lower. The upper is what takes all the stress and pressure.

The reviews I read were all of the guys videographer skills from the stuff he posted on youtube. It was over on M4 forums, and those guys can be a big bunch of douches when they want to be. They were all over him because a MagPul PMAG wouldn't drop free of his lower- a common thing I understand. So what say ye, should I drop the hammer? I emailed the owner of the company and asked a few questions, haven't heard back yet though. They are apparently marketing their own fire control group too.

Their claim is that it is mil spec in every regard except for the fact that it is made out of polymer instead of aluminum. He has a youtube channel, and I just found a rudimentary website. I really want to talk to this feller. His youtube channel has a few marketing videos but it's mainly him draining rounds through his Type 3 guns... http://plumcrazyguns.tk/

No. I have only found one or two reports from people who actually own them, and both of them were as good at writing a report on a firearm as Obombo is at giving a speech without a teleprompter...
Please do tanner, and let us all know how it goes. I would love to get one right now, but we just got back from the vet and all my discretionary cash stayed...

Bringing this thread back to life.
I now have over 1000 rounds through my Plum Crazy AR-15 as of this past weekend. Not a single issue yet. My Magpul PMAGS even drop free (if you hold it at the right angle) lol. I don't let mine hit the floor anyways so it would be no big deal if it didn't. The trigger actually has a nicer pull on it than the re-worked triggers on my aluminum AR's. Don't hesitate on it. They seem to be fine and they have a lifetime warranty. Got mine from guy out of WI on Gunbroker for $125 shipped several months ago after reading this thread.

I missed this thread, but a kid here at work told me about them Monday. He syas there is a guy on their website that claims to have 10,000 rounds thru one. I'm still a bit skeptical, but heck, $125 sure ain't a bad price...
Mmmm Hmmm

Are they still available for that price? Last I checked they were $150 at GunBroker.

Is there enough interest for a group buy? I could possibly make it two, one for a friend and one for myself.

At that price I would certainly go for it, even if it is just so my extra uppers don't feel so lonely in the vault Besides, nothing like having working weapons, J.I.C. -w
