Saw three trucks pulled over...I was in the wrong lane. Saw a HUGE buck in the back of the field. Wondering if any of you boys saw him, I saw somebody taking video/pics......I have seen this boy for the last week around 6:00pm. I need to try to remember to stop and take pics.

my friends dad works at saber and they have seen a monster buck with 23 points on just one side and have game pics of him and other monster bucks also have hogs

I've seen him twice(Don't know about 21pts.. Looked like a main frame 10 with a few kickers) just east of sabre Right behind the metal fence on the vary east side opf the clearing... On my way to hunt Grapevine... Also a doe got hit on the south side about a month ago and had 3 yotes on it... Brood day light

My friend said the 10 is the small one on their pics hope to get pics from him later, have you seen the double drop tine buck.

No double drop yet, if the 10 is the small one I hate to see the big one b/c the 10 was pushing the 150 range!!!

I drive past that area on 114 every day and have seen some of these big boys usually in the evenings around 5:00pm

It is amazing how things have changed out there. I used to drive that road almost every day from 1988 to 1999. At least when I was in town which was about 4-5 months out of the year. I used to get my haircut at a little shop just east of Sabre. The barber grew up in Westlake and knew the area well. He told me that in all of the old indian sites that were excavated they never found evidence of deer on the south side of the creek.

Do a search on youtube of Southlake deer. I was one of the trucks pulled over last night and a fellow forum member was there w/ his video camera. He sent me the link to his youtube posting this morning but I can't post it here @ work. I have seen several deer for over a year and decided to pull over last night when I saw another truck. The 7 minutes of video on youtube are awesome. He is w/ another doe.

I searched "Southlake deer" and couldn't find anything.

try searching by poster: jstandeford. A friend of mine tried it that way this morning and was able to pull it up by searching posts by jsanderford. Other videos of his will pop up but you should be able to see this one in his library
