Me and my buddy have a figure six hog trap made out of hog panels. We went and checked it today and saw where the hogs had rooted beside and all around the trap but didnt go nowhere near the door or into the trap. Any suggestions or advice.

Give them time, keep corn inside of it and they will go in. I tie mine open when I don't want to catch them so they can use it as they want.

Open the entrance (remove door panel) give them free food. When they get use to going in set the trap. They might think it's another stingy deer hunter keeping them from the corn. smile

Set up your feeder , when you get pictures of hogs then set your trap around the feeder, make sure you set the door in line with the trail they are coming down. If you have a pig wallow set it close to it and put the feeder inside the trap. Check out our pictures at our web site www.goinfencing.com

Trap the hogs!
