Buddy of mine shot a band last week with a bible quote. He asked me what I thought and I told him he needs to go to church. Anyone heard of this?

Had a nice surprise in the mailbox today...got the info from the band I shot a few weeks ago. Greenhead banded in Tilley Alberta in 2008, hatched 2007 or earlier.

mallards - 3
Small canadas - 2
Big honkers - 1
Snows - 2
But spring snow goose hasnt started yet ! And collar hunting we will go !!!

I have two banded mottled ducks...First was killed in Hankamer off of a WRP pond that was 2 years ago...Second was killed this season and this one means the most as it was killed on my families property that has struggled to produce good amounts of birds, and my 1.5 year old lab retrieved it for me...it was also his first time to retrieve 2 full limits of ducks....My brother's second ever duck he killed was a banded blue wing teal...

1 band this year, my first, a gadwall hen. I have now shot a banded alligator, turkey, and duck. Next up, goose and dove, then the circle will be complete.

1 band - GWT Drake - Kansas - in my 4th season (current season).  Ended the season with 2 bands - the one above, and a Mallard Drake in Cappy's neighborhood(see below).

WHen I was a kid I used to hunt with my buddies dad at College Port. The lease was called "Webfoot" It was like 40k acres or something and it backed up to mad Island NWR. We used to have blinds built on the fence line of Mad island. On a good morning, we would literally pick out the banded snows to shoot. Never did see a neck band back in the mid 80's. Anyway that friend died in a motorcyle wreck several years ago, and I put my lanyard with all my bands on it in his casket.
Snow goose = 53
Ducks = 0
Those of you who do not stand behind our millitary, please stand in front of it!!!

got 1 banded spec and a banded dove. my boss shot a duck a few years back with a gps backpack it was pretty cool.

been huntin 10+ years only got one band, blue wing teal 2 years ago, killed alot of ducks this year but no bands

Zero! 30 years of waterfowl hunting and no bands. I've never seen a banded bird taken, either.
