I can not believe how hard it is to find a pair of boots made in the USA anymore. Justin of all COmpanies now made in China. Is it me or are we selling out? I know this isnt dealing with hunting but darn. I am going to have to buy me a pair of Tony Lamas. I will spend a little more to have a well made boot.

I wear timberland work boots; not sure where they're made though. I can tell you for sure I'll never own another pair of redwings though. Spent $220 only to have them fall apart in less than a year.

Check Luchese, Nocona, and Chippewa. They are made in the U.S

I'm another fan of Danner boots.

When he was young, I told Dale Jr. that hunting and racing are a lot alike. Holding that steering wheel and holding that rifle both mean you better be responsible.

......AND you better check the Tony Lama`s .............

The last pair that I bought, AFTER wearing them for a day, had "MADE IN CHINA" in very small print.I WAS PIZZED OFF !!!

They were the TLX............AND they didn`t last 6 months....

Ariat used to be but it seems they are now outsourced as well. They are still by far my favorite boots. They hold up better than any others.

Rocky boots are still made in the USA. They have hunting, work, and western boots.

Made in Texas by Texans for Texans

Custom made to your foot. Only boot I have ever found to be able to stand up to sale barns and feed lot pens. Not to mention no break in period and fit is perfect.

you pick the toe, the heel, the colors, and the hieght

My son picked up a beautiful pair of brand new Luchesse boots for $10 at a garage sale a couple years ago, but they were a bit large for him. Gave them to me, and they fit like they were made for me. hehe :-)

Now, I wouldn't pay the $500 retail price for them, but ain't complaining at all. Chippewas are more my style (and price), and as far as I know, they're still made in the land of the cheese-heads.

The only boot I have worn since about '92. Haven't bought a pair in a couple of years but they are by far the best I have ever worn and hard to beat the price.

i went in the lucchese outlet in El Paso on my last trip.

wow, do they have some great looking boots.
the only problem was that every pair i liked and tried on ended up being over $3,000 when i saw the price tag. and that was at the outlet...

oh well.. guess i will stick with my old pair

Not sure where the Red Wings are made these days but I have been wearing them for 30 years and have always got several years wear from them.
