Spinners are not as effective as they once where! Ducks have seen every spread up and down the fly way.

How long do wild ducks live? 10 years? I would think the older ducks catch on. Also, how long have mojo's been prolific? 4 years maybe? So if older ducks catch on, then they will catch on even more in the future as they have only seen these mojos for 4 years now (in a prolific way).

In a flock, is it the older duck that leads the flock? If the older, wiser duck in the flock flares, won't the rest flare?

Decoys have been used for many many years and they still come in on the decoys? I think it all has to do with your setup.

Good post, exactly, I have my go to decoy spread ideas, I usually use a mojo in those setups, however the preference of each hunter doesn't have near as much to do with the success of the spread as what the ducks are interested in, the way the ducks respond each day and that sometimes will change within that day is what will truely bring in the birds. Hunting accessories are alot like fishing accessories, find what you have confidence with and hunt hard.

Yeah, but decoys look "just like" ducks, spinners don't.

They look like the ducks I call in, suspending over the decoys for hours on end, amazed at my abilities

Legacy Outfitters needs a duck hunting focus group!

True dat!

Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.
