Heck of a shoot this morning. I got tobrill up an old bull canvasback over some new wooden decoys. Thanks for letting me get some work in with duke.

Did you make Friz take off those damn sunglasses?
At least he didn't wear his white ones...
Nice shoot.

Then got SHOT!!! Im guessing that Wood Duck was lost as a angle in Heck. The only thing I can see wrong with this picture is that the one guy with the sunglasses doesn't have his camo matched up properly. The ducks can spot things like that. Had he been wearing matching patterns, he could have gotten some Mallards in there instead of just trash ducks (Canvasbacks, Wood Ducks, Pintails, etc) In all my years duck hunting, one thing I have noticed is the ducks get really skittish toward the end of the season and you can't be making any mistakes. This late in the season, you've really got to watch out for little things like that. Try going to Mackspw.com and getting some Drake Waterfowl Gear. They make all the best stuff and all the seasoned hunters wear it.

Nice hunt, Jeff! And congrats on the Canvasback, Frisbie. I was supposed to hunt this morning at a hot little hole (2 bands out of it yesterday), but I broke my wrist so I'm sitting here chewing on Vicodin instead!

As I mentioned at lunch, we had not been in the truck five minutes after the hunt when Hunter was asking when we could come back. See you some next year for sure. Thanks for the memories, TOMCAT21

Looks like a great hunt Jeff! Frizz congrats on the Can.
the thing about baiting is, even a rookie hunter could have a 170 bird season if they bait holes

Good job guys!! Jeff will get you on em. Variety is the spice of life. O' yea guys this late in the season you should really watch your complexion. Try something with a good moisturizer that exfoliates and get your eyebrows waxed. This late in the season, you've really got to watch out for little things like that. You are dressed fine for lay out blinds.
