I knew it would happen but it still surprised me. I saw two groups of hunters, actually hunting, last week while I was scouting. Did anyone else see this in your neck of the woods??

Did you call them into the game warden? If not, why?

The game warden was waiting for them at the ramp.

They probably had no idea about the split, but I guarantee they never make that mistake again

I bet they launched there boat at like mid night thinking they had to be the first ones on the water to get to there spot.

I hope so. I was on the water right at sunrise and started heading for the area I wanted to hunt this week and all of a sudden I see a group of ducks, which turned into decoys. First I thought that these guys really take there scouting seriously or

Ten minutes later the knuckleheads start shooting and shooting and shooting. They looked like some younger hunters that in the end will have paid a handsome price for their ignorance. If that wasn't bad enough, I heard several shots fired closer to the mouth of the river. I believe the game wardens had a busy morning.

I see it every year. I ran into 3 groups two years ago and they thought i was B.S. them and wanted me to pull out book right there and show them. I told them the GW would be happy to show them.

talked to a buddy today and he was tellin me all about how good the hunting was last weekend with the cold weather all i could do was laugh....cant believe how dumb people can be not even knowing the seasons for the animals they r hunting for......

Man, hearing all this really chaps me. This will really piss off the duck gods!

Idiots!!!

I scouted chambers last weekend and ran across a group, and have been hearing shots most of the week. The warden said its pretty much standard people don't look up the laws each year to see the changes.

I work nights. Sometimes I get my days mixed up because Monday for me actually starts on Sunday night. I showed up on DU property one morning, several years ago and could not figure out where everyone was at. Soon I realized it was a closed day. Glad I was still in the parking lot.
