This weekend started great with 2 man limit Friday. Then Friday night got stuck in mud with truck and trailer, got a local to yank us out.

After waking up late today, and fowidreams getting back to hotel at 530 we went to go meet GR and Gdogg. We missed our turn in the fog, and this pos tom tom told us to go down this road, we got 300 yards and stuck like chuck. Had to get tow service with 85 chevy 2500 with 30 ton winch on back. They winched and pulled us for 3 miles and 4 hours and a grand total of $400 dollars. Truck now is shaking so bad couldnt make it home, stuck in Corsicana with the spoony blues!!!!

dude I think it was still the best worst weekend of my life I can only imagine why ya'll think I say that.

If it's shaking..it may just be all the mud up in everything. Had an old K5 that I buried to the frame, shook like heck once we got it out and on the road..went straight to the carwash to clean it up so I could diagnose the problem...didn't see anything, got it back on the road and it was fine. Probably knocked 500lbs of mud of it at the carwash (they probably were cussing me once they found that mess)..

but ya, if you haven't washed it yet, it's worth it..and I mean get up underneath it and get it CLEAN..use your hands if you have to

same thing happened to me. bunch of mud on the inside of the wheel.

yea we washed it twice and got a ton of mud out. but still shaking

Here's a pic from all the mud getting thrown on the truck, and a lil vid. We went like this for about 2 miles, but could only go a little at a time. The pull truck was getting hot, and we kept sliding in the ditches on the sides having to get winched out.

Wow! That's some serious mud! Hope your truck is not messed up too bad.

Does your truck have 4wheel drive? I'm guessing no. That sucks sorry that happened.

no it didn't, but even if it did it would have been hell. The trailer collected to so much mud the tires weren't rolling. It was like dragging a 2 ton sled. We even had to drop it so the tow truck could get just the truck out. Then they went back and got the trailer.

your drive shaft prob got tweaked on newer trucks made outta aluminum smallest dents and dings will cause shaking

Tom Tom did that to me as well in my wifes Dodge Charger, needless to say Tom Tom went Bye Bye, Garmin works much better. Boy she wanted to kill me when she saw her car.

haha that's exactly what the tow guys said to do with tom tom and get a Garmin. The problem with tom tom is it wants to give you "shortcuts" to everything.

I talked to Sean and a balance and alignment have them back on the road again.
