It was a slow day. Wasn't able to hunt this morning and the days are winding down. So, I decided to hunt the tank here at the house this evening and really try Zeke.

Had nothing but two ringers come in about 15 minutes apart. Really learned what I need to work on Zeke with on this hunt for sure so he will be ready come dove season and next duck season.

Either way, hunting this evening was better than letting another day go by.

Zeke and I

He's only 7 months. He has been injury prone for the last 3 months that has hindered his training. He got stuck under the storage building once and had a severe sprain on his paw. Since then (get ready to cringe) he has been run over twice....flame away.

He weighed 70 pounds as of last Saturday.

BTW: Thanks for the compliment.

Well, he still has 39 stitches in his left rear leg. But other than that, he is OK.
