 Do you hunt more open water with more ducks down?

Just wondering if you move to bigger, more open water when duck numbers increase, or if you hunt further up the creeks into more timber? Any opinions?

Hunt where they are feeding no matter if it is big water or not. I know a lot of guys and done it myself, skip the early morning and hunt the big water where they go after feeding. Lot less preasure cuz everybody else is home sleeping.

Thats what we do when we hunt lakes. Sleep in, eat breakfast, go fishin then go huntin!!!!!

Later in the season when they start rafting up on the main lake I will. Until then stay close to feeding areas.
