Morning guys We setup this morning to do a dual goose/duck hunt here in Katy. We saw a ton of birds..lots of geese and the most Pintail I've ever seen. The Pintail where here in droves. Now they are high and are staying with the geese; however, that's where our goose spread came in. We shot three (which was our limit) (also took a few spoonies) and I took this hoss (my second sprig ever but he's too pretty to cut up):

Good looking bird! Got my first Pintail on Christmas day. Mine was a young one and didn't have a nice sprig yet. I can't wait to get a nice one like yours to put on the wall.

Good looking bird! Got my first Pintail on Christmas day. Mine was a young one and didn't have a nice sprig yet. I can't wait to get a nice one like yours to put on the wall. I killed my first one on 12/13 and it was a young one without a sprig. I put him in the freezer and now this one is right next to him.

good job.... i found out last week where the geese and pins are at everyday. Not on my property, but bordering it. I sat on the fence line yesterday and watched thousands and thousands of geese and pintails. I have NEVER seen that many pintails before.

where did you hunt this morning? I don't recognize those buildings, so it must not be any of my leased property.
