I hunt in Kent co. and the late anterless and spike season is the 4th throght the 17th and so is the youth late season. Do youth have to shoot anterless and spike or does that just apply to the adults?

Youth can shoot anything they want based on the first 2 days of regular season. Spike/antlerless only applies to adults in Kent county.

Looks pretty confusing to me.

Youth can hunt bucks as well. Their special season just happens to run concurrent to the spike/anterless season in Kent county which is new this year. The point of the youth season is to allow the kid to shoot a buck in this case which daddy/mommy is hunting for a doe/spike as well. Should encourage more parents to hunt with their kids.

That's the way it looks to me.

Essentially, I can hunt spikes and does. However, my Grandson can hunt legal bucks.
